Confidentiality

Federal and State laws prohibit College Hospital from disclosing patient health information without the written consent of the patient.  College Hospital strictly complies with all Federal and State laws governing the privacy, security, use and disclosure of patient health information.

Visiting Hours

1. Visiting hours are as follows:
   1. Adolescent Unit: 6:00 pm-6:30 pm every day
   2. Adult Psychiatric Units: 7:30 pm-8:30 pm every day
   3. Medical Surgical Unit:
      1. Detox Patients: 3:00 pm-4:00 pm
      2. Medical Surgical Patients: 2:00 pm-8 pm

2. Children under the age of 18 will not be permitted to visit.
3. Any person who is exhibiting flu-like symptoms will not be permitted to visit.
4. If you cannot come at the designated times above, please call in advance for special privileges as doctor approval is required.
5. Only two visitors for one patient at a time may be on the unit.
6. All patients have the right to refuse visitors at any time.

Please sign in with the operator or security guard to receive a Visitors Badge.
When allowed to enter the unit, please check-in at the nursing station.

Please note: Personal belongings may not be brought onto the unit including purses and bulky jackets, please leave these items locked in your vehicle.

Bringing Items for Patients

1. For the safety of our patients, we ask that you do not bring in the following:
   1. Food (special arrangements can be made in advance);
   2. Glass or sharp objects (including flower vases);
   3. Items with cords or strings (shoelaces, belts, walkman, hair dryer, balloons, etc.)
   4. Lighters (matches will provided by nursing staff upon request).
