College Hospital Costa Mesa's General Medical program provides medical/surgical inpatient and outpatient services. The program offers patients individualized and personalized care in a hospital setting. Services available include 23-bed medical/surgical unit, 24-hour physician coverage, same day surgery, full service lab, radiology, cardiopulmonary, physical therapy and pharmacy.

The program also provides inpatient care for adults who have low to high psychiatric impairment and require acute medical services. This specialty service provides medical health care to the individual who is experiencing both a medical disease and a psychiatric disorder. Detoxification for adults is offered under close medical supervision. Professional and supportive staff utilize both traditional and the newest innovations in detox treatment and interventions.
