Program Description
A distinct unit which assures the patients will interact with peer groups
and be involved with age-appropriate adolescent activities.
Multidisciplinary team approach with direct focus on crisis intervention
and stabilization.
The program, offered seven days a week, provides daily intensive treatment
for the duration of a patient's stay.
Daily group focus on communication and adaptive coping skills.
Family participation to enable all members to develop more effective ways
of interacting and communicating.
Family groups held weekly to help the family understand the adolescent's
need and to improve interaction and communication.
Free aftercare groups offered weekly for up to one year after discharge.
